Seattle is a compelling city for many major US companies including Boeing, Microsoft and Amazon, and a city Caydon has selected to expand our US portfolio. The company will be developing a prize site on the corner of 8th and Cherry St in Seattle’s First Hill neighborhood. Adjacent to Downtown makes it a very walkable location for workers and residents alike. Residents will also benefit from being close to a range of medical facilities, Seattle’s top universities and boutique museums as well as having incredible views of Puget Sound, Lake Union and the Cascade Mountains.
A touch of Melbourne in Seattle
The development will be neighbor of the historic Trinity Episcopal Parish. Its landmarked church, a Seattle architectural icon, features a garden where one can find serenity amongst the hustle and bustle of Downtown. Caydon will build new Trinity facilities featuring a performance venue for the many artistic groups hosted by the parish and an art gallery.
Caydon plans to bring an essence of Melbourne to Seattle. The dynamic Australian city, known for its vibrant café and sporting culture, is recognized as one of the most distractive and appealing cities in the world.
Caydon creates communities with a unique lifestyle experience
Surrounded by water and mountains the only way is up for Seattle. Designed to sensitively balance the existing buildings in the surrounding neighborhood, while also addressing the increased demand in the housing market, the new development will include more then 200 unites and provide a high level of amenities for relaxation and enjoyment brining Seattle’s iconic architecture and visuals to the forefront of the city’s distinct art and culture.
Caydon have engaged Chicago-based SCB Architects to realize the concept for this new, 30-story development on First Hill as well as local consultant, Compton Design. Trinity’s architect is Clint Pehrson Architects of Seattle.
